Canadian Model Tribute





Canadian models are so hot right now. I couldn't believe it when I was playing around on style.com and a lot of the models I was coming across happened to be Canadian. I found many successful Canadian models that are working steadily today and getting international attention. Below are just a few of my favourites. I haven't forgotten the most famous Canadian model Linda Evangelista or even Shalom Harlow but I wanted to show models who are currently rising or still walking in many shows.

Aqua di Lara

On a bone-chillingly cold Tuesday afternoon, Aqua di Lara's luxury swimwear line lit up the runway with red-hot summer heat.
A welcome suprise after standing outside in the painfully cold wind waiting to see the prior runway shows, which left something to be desired.
Models donned Peak-a-boo and cut-out piece swim suits that oozed glamour and sex appeal.
I certiainly did not expect that my favorite thing I'd seen since the beginning of the week would be a swim wear line, but I must admit that it was.

Kareem Ajani is not just a talented, pleasantly humble fashion photographer, he is also a visionary. Perhaps his modest personality and amazing work ethic come from growing up in loving family with three siblings. Passionate about his work,Kareem shoots with a Canon 5D and notes the vibrant David La Chappelle as his favorite photographer.

This is why I love the fall: the layering, the rich colours, the jackets, the scarves, the boots, and cooled-off comfortable weather. My excitement for fall fashion has been able to take some of the edge off the end-of-summer-blues.
